Law of Speeding

P/S : Picture was taken in Switzerland. Coming to think of it, I haven't blog about it yet :)

In Switzerland, the law enforced is incredibly strict. As an example, for those that drive beyond the speed limit will be charged 40 Swiss franc per 3km/h over limit. Everytime I'm behind the wheels, my mom will tend to nag me as I always subconsciously go beyond the speed limit (well, not always subconsciously).

Went back to my hometown, Port Dickson yesterday to attend a dinner. During my stay there, there was once when I fetched my grandfather out to buy some durian. And as expected from me, I went beyond the limit again. Grandpa complained to my mom and in the end I got a 'free' lecture session. This is what my grandpa said :

Wah! Ur son trying to be like William ah? (one of my uncles who loves to drive fast). Like this William number 1, and ur son trying to be number 2 lo.

He spoke in Hokkien though.

What I'm trying to say is that I'm really annoyed everytime she nags. I understand the fact that she is just worried that I might get into an accident, but teenagers like us just want to have some fun sometimes. To be honest, my average speed is just around 85km/h. Why would they consider it as speeding? Maybe our definition of 'speeding' is just different? What do you think? YES, YOU!

Nonetheless, I will still listen to my mom's advice. Because they are ALWAYS right.
