Restaurant Chuan, SS14

It was Saturday (AGAIN!)- one of the weekend where we have to scratch our head, thinking new places for dinner (sometimes I even need to bang my head on my wall, mind you). Just kidding.

While preparing ourselves for dinner,

Dad: Guys, dress up nicely.
JY: Why ah? Going somewhere grand for dinner?
Dad: NO LA.. Going to eat shark only.
JY: Shark fin soup is it? Shark cannot eat la, protected species.
Dad: NO! SHARK for dinner!
Everyone: *looking at each other, stoned*

[THIS IS A STRICTLY A NON-HALAL POST]

Here we are. Restaurant Chuan @ SS14.

Braised Pork's Leg. The meat layered with the fats tasted as awesome as always. Unfortunately, was restricted from eating too much as it contains high level of cholesterol. BOOOOOO!

Shark Cooked with Curry Powder. I find the meat a bit dry. It could be due to the fact that it was cooked with Curry Powder. The other style of cooking may gives a different view of it though.

Black Pepper Stomach Soup. In my opinion, it tasted nice but it didn't reach my standard to be qualify as spicy. Never tried ordering this dish outside, therefore not much comments will be made on it. MY MOM COOKING THE BEST LA...

Although the shop noted that it is 100% Klang Bak Kut Teh, but I had tried MUCH better Bak Kut Teh than this. Strongly recommend not to have Bak Kut Teh here. TASTELESS. Nonetheless, it was still a meal worth the price.

Address :
