CNY/2009

I couldn't lie to all my readers by saying how fun and exciting my new year celebration is. As a matter of fact, the new year mood this year is worst compared to last year. This is due to some family problem that occured between my relatives. I wondered why they wouldn't solve it after new year. And instead, they chose to solve it ON Chinese New Year and spoilt everything. Anyway, this is my Chinese New Year post of year 2009.

#1 This is my grandfather's (mom side) house where everyone gathered. Exchanging ang pau, gambling etc.

#2 This is my outfit on the 1st day of Chinese New Year. Photo was taken at my grandfather's house. Preparing to go back to my uncle's (dad side) house.

#3 Outfit of mine on the 2nd day of CNY. The one on the left is my cousin's wife. She is also my hairstylist too.

#4 Her 'split' personality really surprised me. She look very serious while working. On the other hand, she is really sampat while we were in my grandfather's place hanging out.

#5 Picture of me and my cousin, Ying who is currently studying in Segi University College in Damansara. There will be a possibility that she will be transferring to Sun-U this April.

#6 The cousin on the left is studying in UTAR. If u all have been following my blog for a long time, u all should know that he and I used to argue a lot while we were young. But as time passes, we grew up and leaved all the unhappy memories behind. We are getting along really well nowadays.

On the 3rd day of CNY, a lot of my aunt and uncle went home due to the affected emotion. The only family left is only our family, aunt Bee Choo's family and Uncle William and his wife, Yvonne.

#9 I love this photo a lot. This is the 1st time I ever put my head out a sun roof. Sun roof of a Mercedes Benz E280. Look at what my aunt is doing behind there. So childish! xD

#10 My cousin was so bored that she started to take picture with my phone. Out of boredom, I decided to join in to kill some time.

CAT IS NOT LIFELESS

Yesterday had been the craziest and most enjoyable day of my life since college started. Will try something different today. By summarising my activities into a timetable.

8.30am - Yesterday was my last day of class before CNY starts. We, CATian had our progress test for T1 and T2. I expected T2 to be simpler than T1 since T2 is basically just calculations. But out of my expectation, T1 is so much easier than T2. I couldn't answer some of the question in T2. Thinking of it kinda freak me out.

1.00pm - Lim came to fetch us to Asia Cafe to have lunch. We bought a cake for the "Tall Guy" before going to AC, wanting to surprise him to celebrate his birthday which is located on 28th January.

2.30pm - Reached pyramid after experiencing the massive jam in SS15. All of us, CATian of Group 2 went bowling. After awhile, San San wanted to buy a present for Siti. So Sydney decided to accompany her. After bowling, the guys wanted to continue the fun by pooling. So decided to tag along and ask Lim to teach me.

5.30pm - After San San went home, we decided to sent another of our classmate, Alveena home. So in the end, those who was still in the car is me, Lim and Davin. Lim and I decided to go SS2 to have dinner and come back after that to meet up with my friend to pool at AC.

7.00pm - Reached SS2 and had dinner. Met up with another classmate, Jia Yu. Suddenly, Lim suggested to fetch my friend. So off we go, back to Subang Jaya.

8.00pm - Reached USJ 2 after the massive jam. Reached AC and start pooling. Friend of mine tagged along because she wanted someone to teach her how to pool. So I decided to ask Lim for his service to teach her. This guy is almost good in everything. EG: Pool, foos, bowling, arcade etc.

11.00pm - After tired of pooling, we paid the bill and stoned there. Thinking of what to do next. Actually decided to drive to Genting and come back after that, but then due to time consumption factors, and someone had to go home earlier, we decided to have a short tour in KL.

2.00am - After encountering jam and getting lost in KL, we managed to get ourselves home safe and sound. I pity Yoke Lim actually. Driving for the whole day must have made him exhausted. But I really enjoyed the day. xD

Life in Sun-U

I passed my DRIVING EXAM YESTERDAY. I'm very proud of my achievement although I paid the RM200 (which you all should know the purpose by now as a Malaysian). To be honest, I'm the only member in my family which did not fail. The rest of my family members failed at least once. Luckily, the family "tradition" stopped and not continued by me instead.

Today class was as usual - challenging. During break time, someone suggested that we have our lunch in Asia Cafe in SS15. I don't remember the exact details until I read San San's blog. She even remembered the conversation which I will be posting shortly.

Someone : AC! AC! AC!
JY : AC? How to go?
Somebody : *point* there... They two can fetch (mentioning the 2 classmates which is our class rep and Yoke Lim).
JY : Don't joke la.
Yoke Lim : Not joking la. Let's go la!

Then don't know what happen...

JY : If go AC, I chop my ****
Someone : OKAY! U SAY ONE AH!
Everyone : Okay! Let's go AC!

Then, in the end we really ended up in AC. Crazy classmates that I have.

Skipping College

Tomorrow which is 20th of January, I will be having my driving exam. In order for me to attend the exam, I have to skip class tomorrow. But luckily the class I skipped is on Tuesday, because the schedule for Tuesday is the shortest. So, it's not so bad.

To be honest, I'm have not been looking forward to Chinese New Year since a few years ago. It's been very lonely without u beside me, sis! Since u left, the CNY celebration, birthday, outing is not the same anymore. Every year, it's just papa, mama and me. The feeling is just not the same anymore. I remembered we used to share a lot of our problems together. Every sweet and bitter moment in our life. It really brings back a lot of memories everytime I thought of it. I hoped we are able to celebrate every event after u come back in June which is after ur graduation. And sis, if I have the chance to learn skiing, I will definitely learn way much faster than u. Because according to papa, I have better automotive nerve. xD

Blogging From Sun-U

Am currently in college at the moment. The lecturer who is suppose to teach Malaysian Studies haven't enter the class. So decided to use my friend's laptop to blog. This is a very interesting experience indeed.

Yo, sis! U better come back asap in June. I decided to take over ur laptop and bring to college every Thursday. Having laptop definitely kills some time (especially Malaysian Studies). Alright, lecturer is here. Gotta go!

Thanks To CSB1

I've just came back from my class today. Accounting is seriously consuming me slowly. It's really hard to catch up with a lecturer trying to finished all the syllabus in the shortest time. After accounting T1 class, we have this period - CSB1. As expected from me, it was very interesting. The purpose of having this lesson is to encourage us to communicate.

We were asked to walk around and socialise with the entire class and know about their background. After that, we were supposed to describe their interest without mentioning the name of the person and the class were supposed to guess. Well, I did. In fact, we all did. Some of the students took the trouble to write it down. Well, a lot of the guys didn't do what we were told (including me of course). We just go around socialising.

In the end, I was the first to be called out and performed our task. For some reasons, I only managed to think of some. And I got myself a penalty. GREAT. After a few rounds of guessing, someone chose me again. And I got another penalty.

I'm going to upload a video of me performing due to the penalty earlier. I was dancing with this guy with him as a pole. He was the perfect one for the job - as thin as a stick and 190cm tall. I was the one in black while that's the "pole" in WHITE.

It would need to take awhile to finish buffering the video. In the mean time, enjoy urself by having a cup of coffee.

Day Before Orientation

Today would be the last day of my holiday before my college life begins. A lot of people had been giving me negative comments when they heard that I'm studying ACCA. I understand why they gave such comments. I can't believe that I'm actually doing ACCA as well, because I wanted to study engineering since I was a kid.

For your information, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is a British chartered accountancy body with a global presence that offers Chartered Certified Accountant qualification worldwide.

I know that a lot of you would ask :

Then why study accounting? Ur from Science stream right?

The fact is I don't have a huge passion towards additional mathematics. YES! Ur right. Passion can be build. But it's not a natural passion in you. It's just a passion you build up because you have been facing it for a long time. Instead, I have a bigger passion for money. Well, who doesn't actually? I can't imagine myself getting involve in a career using further mathematics for the rest of my lives.

Studying in ACCA keeps my option open as well. After I graduate, I can still be in the finance, business, marketing and even investment field. Beside that, after graduating in ACCA, I'll be able obtain 2 certificate in total.

Celebration 01/01/2009

Went to pyramid to countdown with Jeffrey and Mrs Denise Tiw. This is actually the first time I went out and countdown with friends. The feeling was indescribable by words. It was truly amazing.

Was actually planning to go clubbing together with Wei Kit's gang, but it was really packed. So decided to be a "good kid" for the moment and be a light bulb between the couple.
