Just Stand Up

Just Stand Up Lyrics

A few days earlier, I was switching channel on TV randomly and managed to get hold of this song. The title for this song is JUST STAND UP and is sang by various artists which comprises of -
Ashanti, Leona Lewis, Cyrus, Melissa Beyonce Knowles, Ciara, Rihanna, Fergie, Keyshia Cole, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, Mary J Blidge, Miley Etheridge, Natasha Bedingfield, LeAnn Rimes. This may only means a song to you. But it means a lot more for me.

A few years back, I experienced the feeling of almost losing someone that means a lot to me. I remembered that I cried terribly the moment I walked out the room. Learn to appreciate everyone which is around us. We will never know what might happen tomorrow or even the next minute. Do not only regret after losing them.

Nawal's Birthday + Photo Session

Alright.. Alright.. The day where Nawal turned 18 is finally here. As a girl women, it is natural for them to like to take pictures right? Therefore, while having our break we decided to camwhore like mad to celebrate her birthday. Before I start this post, I would like to present u my 2 favourite photos of the day. Therefore, sit back, relax, enjoy ur popcorn while looking at these pictures.

Attempt No.1 while taking picture with Chin Shen. It is so hard to convince her to take a picture with me. She is just so shy. This is the old women girl whom have rumours with me in class that she is my wife.

Attempt No.2.. Finally, she is willing to take a nice picture with me. Phew... I seriously love this photo to the max.

Her clothing was so isolated from the environment that day. *Accounting jokes of Group 2*. I told her that she was very covered up that day for the very first time. Usually her clothing is *weird action* hawt.

But she said she still heart me anyway. Awww.. I'm so touched.

A special thanks to Alveena for borrowing me her shawl to pose. A picture with the birthday women, Nawal. Happy 18th birthday, woman.

The Tales of Tallie and The Shortie..

I asked Veena, photographer of the day to do a personal photoshoot for me. So that, I'll be able to use the picture as my facebook and friendster display picture.

Unfortunately, this big guy, Anil got jealous and started disturbing our photo session.

I cannot stand him any longer after awhile. Therefore decided to leave peacefully with him butt-to-butt. Notice our hand? Haha!

Quote from Veena in her blog:
I don't know which one is funnier. These two or the guy watching them..

Why does Aaron's emotion make us look like we're trying to rape him? We are so innocent, for goodness sake.

Last but not least, we as a bloggers decided to have a picture together to call it a day.

Human's Nature

A few weeks ago, my aunt and uncle came to visit and mentioned something really accurate about me. According to them, this statement applies to everyone who has the surname - Tan. But now I decided to share with all of you out there as I think this statement works for a lot of us.

While in a conversation, try realizing whether u like to have the last sentence. What I mean in exact is that you like to be the one to end the conversation even though the lines from you is not necessary. For those who is still blur about what I'm talking about, allow me to give an example. Sorry if it's a bad one though. I'm just trying to express my feelings about it.

HUSBAND WIFE SON

Dear, tonight's dinner is really delicious.

Oh.. Thanks, honey.

Yeah.. It's really nice..

P/S : The sentence from the son is not necessary as the husband is complimenting the wife, but still the son enter the conversation as well. To some of you, this may be extremely normal, even for me actually. Recently I've been really conscious about it and realized I am this type of person too. Sigh!

Feb 21th [PT2]

Saturday suppose to be a day where all the students and corporate employees have their day off and relax at home. Unfortunately, we, CATian of Group 1 and 2 had our replacement class today instead. All thanks to Ms. Geetha for having her personal break last week. But that's alright. Her explanation for it really made it sound important.

Woke up at 6.45am today and left the house at 7.40am to have breakfast with my parents before I drive myself to college. Mom decided to let me drive to college today as it's Saturday. Class started at 9am and no break is expected from us. After class, we had our progress test. The test was really tough, or should I say challenging?

To make things even worst, our cube-like-class were extremely cold today. And this 'activated' my sinus nerve and the whole running nose process began. I was shivering throughout the day and have to borrow jackets and shawl from my friends. This basically spoil my mood the whole day. And now, I'm seriously having a bad headache.

Million Dollar Thought

I HAVE LOST MY DIRECTIONS IN LIFE. Whatever I'm doing now, I'm just doing it because it had become a daily routine and it's already a part of my life. As time goes by, the responsibility on my shoulder is getting heavier and heavier. I did not feel anything to be happy about even when I passed my examination. I just felt like it's a responsibility in me. I don't even have any comment about my course. I just know that I chose it and now it's my duty to complete it.

Since from young, I tend to talk a lot and tend to be complained as noisy. Coming to think of it, I really wonder why I have been acting like this for the past years. Maybe being noisy and socialising around is the only way to ease my loneliness in life. But being this way also gave bad impression to my friends. Mixing around with girls too much tend to make me a womanizer and being too close with guys tend to make me look gay. How I hope I am able to be like one of my friend, being able to socialise around and not be complained at all.

I remembered when I was in high school, I read a poem titled Road Not Taken. It somehow is happening to me right now. What will be my life now if I did not talk a lot and complained as noisy at all? What will happen to me if I tend to be more serious and less lame?

Well, actions worth more than thought. It's time for me to find out. I'm going to balance up my attitude and hopefully something better will take place and my life will change to the better.

Edit : Thought that is in my hearts for years is finally expressed. I feel so much relax now.

Valentine Eve

Before I start my post, I would like to wish a Happy belated Valentine day to all of my readers. Wanted to post this yesterday but my aunt and uncle came to visit. So in the end, we went out the whole day.

On 13th of February, I celebrated my early "single" Valentine with my friend. I decided to go by using "public transport". Seriously I'm starting to hate public transport a lot. We went to watch movie and had "candle light dinner".
I once promised myself that I will stop taking any inferior sushi on any conveyor belt as the sushi on the belt is cold and not fresh at all. And I was proven right when I ordered all my sushi in Sushi Zanmai instead of taking them from the belt.

"Candle light dinner" at Sushi Zanmai as we both loves Japanese food a lot.

A candid picture taken.

#1 Peach Smoothies - I didn't expect myself to like this drink so much. The cream that they placed on top mix so well with the drink.

#2 Unagi Kabayaki - Personally I really loves sweet sauce. Unagi always taste awesome with sweet sauce.

#3 Soft Shell Crab Maki - Ever since my sister introduce this sushi to me, I fell in love with it instantly. To those who haven't try it before, I seriously recommend this to you.

#4 Combination of Ebi Mentai, Jo Unagi and Salmon Mentai

#5 Chicken Katsu - Nothing special about this. =.=

Sea Park

Whenever my friends asked where I planned to have dinner with my parents the exact weekend night, my answer would be SS2 or Sea Park. It's not like I eat there every weekend, but coincidentally, I'm having dinner there AGAIN. Well, that's the reason why I decided to blog and introduce this restaurant to all of my readers.

As stated above, it's called Lucky Seafood Restaurant.

FYI readers, it is located directly opposite of this huge GIANT. I think there is only 1 Giant in the whole Sea Park right? Hopefully there is only 1. Otherwise, all of you would be lost out of confusion.

My father had been a loyal customer to this restaurant for over 30 years before marrying my mom and I have been there for around 15 years. That sum up of a total of 45 years. I hope this "tradition" continues. Haha!

This is the junction where you turn in, and the restaurant is on your left. This restaurant is usually crowded after 8pm. So make sure u reached there by 8pm alright?

This picture is taken at around 6.45pm. And half of the restaurant is already packed. This is what they call - Picture of a thousand word.

There is also a side-dish stall - duck. This is not the best duck available in Sea Park though. The best duck is located at the other stall further down. It's so popular that even when my dad tried to order for the upcoming CNY, 6 months in advanced, it's all sold out.

College

Checking at the date of my last post made me realized that I haven't blog for a week. Staring at the calender hanging on the wall made me aware that I had been in college for a month. And I'm still slacking around, thinking that college is all about fun.

I remembered my secondary school senior saying that :
"You'll definitely miss high school. Don't keep complaining that high school suck. Later u'll regret how little time you had with your high school friends. College isn't as fun as u thought."

Coming to think of it, what's the interesting part of being a college student? Well, the most seducing part is of course being able to wear nice and COLOURFUL clothes to college everyday, keeping your hair long and mixing around with a bunch of crazy friends. And not to mention, looking at those hot girls walking around the campus. xD

I can't wait till June holiday actually. Getting to attend my sister's graduation in UK. I bet graduating in University of Cambridge is prouder than graduating in Sunway University College. After that, we're also planning to visit France, Italy, Switzerland etc. Too bad June isn't the season of winter. Sis took a few winter pictures around her campus and that made me want to experience winter even more.

This picture reminds me of the movie - Home Alone.

This is your hostel, sis?

I suppose this is University of Cambridge? Aww, I'm so envy.
