Cyberian's Twelvians

My 22nd January isn't like anyone typical Friday night. We Cyberians/2008 had our class reunion in Pizza Uno, Taipan. When the clock was striking near 7.30pm, it was raining really heavily. Definitely not a good sign before reunion as it does not usually rain on Friday night. Well, luck was on our side. After awhile, it stopped. Thank goodness.

Quote from Queen Bee:
''A bunch of mischievous darn hard high school/ now college kids teenagers cant face the fact that they are getting old.
Thus, a gathering was held to bring back the nostalgia from the past. interesting it seems. but this is not what we've heard from the restaurant manager,
Pizza 'Ohno'.
''

I'll treasure this forever.

Well, a bunch of us are leaving Malaysia to further their studies after already completed their foundation year here.
So who knows when will we be seeing each other again? 5 years, or maybe even 10 years?

Szu-Shen. By seeing this picture, I'm missing her already. All the laughter that we will be hearing with her around.
Priceless, Zen.
It felt great seeing you (AGAIN!!) after just 2 days after the reunion.

Perhaps the next reunion pictures we're taking will be including our children? With us, having lots of white hair, holding our kids hand.
And we can greet each other by saying :

''HEY, YOU LOOK SO MUCH OLDER COMPARED TO ME!'' :)

Childhood Fulfillment Trip @ Genting, Marrybrown

It's been at least 11 years since I visited Genting outdoor theme park. When γen мε!, a close friend of mine invited me to join her bunch of cousins to Genting last December, I agreed with hesitation. Self-confused inside me whether I was still suitable to qualify myself as a kid, playing inside the theme park. Well, I guess I could self-proclaim myself as a kid for a day? One thing for sure, this will definitely be my last theme park visit. This trip compensated all the childhood disappointment where I did not get to play what I wanted (ie: go-kart) due to the embarrassing truth that I did not reach the height requirement at that moment.

TOO FREAKING SHORT! Unacceptable laa. It's a completely different situation now. That's for sure.

At least now I will be able to put a full stop in my kiddo life. Not planning to lay a foot in Genting theme park. At least not till I become a father and have the responsibility to bring my children there :)

Somewhere around lunch hour, someone asked if we wanted to try out a new place called Marrybrown. I hadn’t heard of the place before but was told that the branches was more commonly found in KL, but not Subang Jaya. Apparently, it is a Malaysian owned fast food franchise offering a range of fried chicken and burger meals. Turns out Marrybrown is more like KFC and McDonalds.

Being Malaysian, they offer a host of local food as well such as fried chicken rice, chicken porridge and the ever popular nasi lemak, all served with their own fried chicken pieces.

Read a few reviews of Marrybrown and surprisingly their burgers was criticised badly although it's so called a burger place. Nonetheless, you should try their fried chicken instead. It isn’t greasy, and turn out it isn't frozen for months like KFC. If it is the case, I wouldn't mind going back more to Marrybrown for a healthier not-so-health meal. Definitely worth the change.

Baby's Day Out

While everyone was on their originated plan celebrating New Year Eve in Midvalley, Pavilion etc, I was back in Port Dickson- accompanied mom to visit my grandfather and also wasted most of my time playing with baby (more like a nanny actually). So to let you know, my mom has a twin sister, auntPoh and she's the grandmother to the baby. In other word, the baby is my cousin's daughter. 4 months old baby is the best period to play with, I can say. I dislike playing with babies when they learn how to walk. They just don't like people carrying them anymore. HOW IRRITATING!

This baby girl was so quiet that even when we squeezed her face, she won't even care (well, not exactly.)

It was really a torture shooting picture of her. As you know, babies tend to move a lot. And the lousy
handphone camera of mine couldn't catch up with her movement :(

The first time
sisMay did the 'goldfish' look on her was purely for fun. She cried very softly for like 10 seconds and just stop. Being evil, we couldn't stand the temptation of her cute 'goldfish' look and keep doing again, and again, again... After the first attempt, she just wouldn't care anymore and allow us to do whatever we want (but still moves a lot) ROAR! :)

And now a picture of the ''goldfish'' baby...

( *shouts* STOP MOVING ALREADYYYYY! )

After a numerous tries of squeezing and shooting, FINALLY!

You Know When...

Your classmate is really bored and have nothing better to do when they take the picture below:
(sign of a lifeless ACCAian)

YES! THE PILLOW BELONGS TO ME!

And NO! I'm not weird, and all. I'm sick and needed a pillow to rest on :(

Manhattan Fish Market @ Subang Parade

What's the worst to be blog about when you're sick. FOOD! I'm craving for food right now. Am currently blogging while waiting for my mom to fetch me to the clinic. Measured my temperature and it showed 37.5 degree Celsius. SHIT! I'm craving for KFC at the moment :( Seriously wonders why I'll fall sick suddenly, doesn't make sense. My head is really spinning but am very determined to finish up this post.

Last Saturday, dad went for a weekend vacation with his bunch of friends. Therefore, sisMay and I decided to bring mom for a little treat. Therefore, we went Subang Parade and have our dinner at Manhattan Fish Market. You can find Manhattan Fish Market at most leading shopping malls such as Sunway Pyramid, Mid Valley, KLCC, IOI Mall etc.

We ordered a Grilled Gala Platter for two since sisMay is on a diet and only wanted to eat a little. The perfectly grilled prawns, fish, calamari, served on a bed of chips and garlic rice just made the sick me drool like a beggar. And it all just sums up a total of RM46.90. However, recently Manhattan Fish Market have a competitor in the market - Bubba Gump. Will definitely try it and compare the quality of it with Manhattan Fish Market :)

Fit Yourself Up #3

Went for my daily work out in the morning - thinking there was going to be nothing unusual but wasting a few hours building up my muscles. I was wrong. After presenting my membership documents, I went up to the 2nd floor (which I usually am) where the cardio equipment is located. Out of a sudden, I noticed a buff guy waving at me. HELL! It was one of my high school mate, SEAN. He became really buff compared to who he used to be a year ago. I was left speechless when I saw him. SEAN once worked as a personal trainer in a True Fitness too, you know.

I asked him for some working out tips and he gave me a very detail explanations how each equipment helps on the muscles building of each body part. Dumb-bell for biceps - 3 sets of the maximum etc. He advised me to first work on my triceps as it was extremely weak and that self-explained how my triceps was sore everytime I worked them out. SEAN gave me a experience on my first HARDCORE work out - trained my chest for the day. In the end, I didn't have any feeling on the chest AT ALL. The only horrible effect is my triceps, feeling that they was going to tear.

I truly felt demotivated right after that. No wonder I wasn't able to perform a continuous numbers of push up. My triceps was dead weak. Or should I rephrase it because I probably didn't even have one. I know I shouldn't be thinking this way but I'm losing my motivation. How long do I need to train? By building my triceps only I'll be able to make a difference to my chest. I'll be old by then. For those who are just starting to carry dumbbells to train their biceps, SAVE YOUR TIME BY DOING SO. Because you need to work on ur triceps for ur biceps to grow. And I can bet that ur triceps are weak that it only allows the biceps to grow till a certain limit.

All I know that muscles don't come easy, pal. THEY DON'T.

Fit Yourself Up #2

Been lazing around for the past 2 days due to muscles soreness of my left arm. Certainly spoilt the whole fitness plan. A big big sigh. This can't be happening to me. Will not let this issue of mine spoilt the whole plan. This is what happen when the both side of arms have different fitness level. I guess I've been lifting weights that was capable to my right arm, but not to the left. For the past 2 days, I've only been doing cardio for an hour in the gym. Yesterday, someone from True Fitness called telling us that he will be free to take us for a tour around the gym. Very weird? I know. Start for more than a week only tour us around.

Before bringing us for a tour, he measured our BMI, total fats, total muscles and of course total calories intake for you not to have any increase in weight. Awesome! But it's almost impossible to follow actually. A plate of rice or pasta and POOF! EXCEEDED! Following after that, he guided us the proper way of using all the equipment. This is where my left arm's muscle couldn't take the pressure of lifting all the weights. I popped the question to the trainer and he said it's probably due to my imbalance level between both of my arms. And I've to continue working out, break this barrier and I'll be completely fine.

To make things a little worst, I went Pasta Zanmai for dinner yesterday. Chicken and mushroom with creamy pasta. CREAMY PASTA! YUM YUM! Full of guilt. For dessert, Vanilla Brownies. HAHA! The dessert was badly done. But who cares la :) It was a huge disappointment for me as we were suppose to have dinner at Bubba Gump. Unfortunately, mum wasn't interested. Really desperate of making a review at Bubba Gump.

I'm actually eating egg tart while typing this fitness post. What a bummer right? :)

Fit Yourself Up #1

Every person who is planning to start a business of their own would probably set their mind on a high profit margin business.
I mean who would like low profit right? That's pure dumb. What would be included as a high profit margin business, you may ask.
Well, one of the popular ones include health products and of course fitness centre. A few weeks back, I was poisoned by them and decided to have a 5 weeks trial at
True Fitness, Taipan. If I am able to fit it in my hectic schedule, why not? I consider myself FAT afterall.

Today would probably be my 6th day working out (I lost track). The gym is never like what I imagined. Before I join the gym,
I imagined sexy instructors with nice body figure (be it male or female) walking around. But the truth proved me wrong.
All of the trainers there are dudes. DUDES, they only attract female. So whats left to attract the male members now?
The most hilarious part is that the trainers there are LESS buff than the members working out there. How funny is that?

However, I'm not saying the gym is bad. It's good, very good actually. It's just that I had a wrong perception before. That's all.

Being someone really vain (REALLY!), I would check out my muscles in front of the mirror, whether there are any physical changes every night after working out. Surprisingly just 5 days of working out, I noticed the differences - muscles are tonning up (maybe I'm being vain. so shoosh away!) Although every night I come back exhausted with sore muscles, when I stand in front of the mirror looking at myself - it's pure satisfaction. This certainly acts like as a motivator to continue working harder and harder and har... *zZzZzzZ*

No motivation arr?

Nothing big. Become like that lor. Bigger only mar.

Childhood Tape Part #1

One day, I was looking through my sisMay's hard drive aimlessly due to boredom and one of the folder caught my attention. I know what you guys are thinking, it's completely normal.
Guys will always be guys. Even me. Be proud that you're normal :)
But unfortunately NO. It's not sex, nor is it porn, but it was labelled as Randomly Funny.

I opened the folder and surprisingly found the videos inside was all with my name on it.
Here's one of the video I would love to share with all of you.
It was taken around 6-7 years ago if I'm not mistaken at Sunway Pyramid.

I LOOKED SO INNOCENT BACK THEN!!!!!!!!

Conversation as mentioned:

sisMay: Bro, come let me take a picture of you.

ME: Don't lie to me la. The shutter sound of your hp during photo shooting and video recording is different.
When you record video, got the 'TIK' sound. When you take a picture, the sound is ''chik-ching''. RIGHT??!!
(with face getting nearer and nearer)

sisMay: *showed the didnt-knew-you-were-so-smart face*

I couldn't believe that was how I looked like 6 years ago. They said that 女大18变.
(Translation) : When girls grow up, they turn into a whole new different person.
I believed it's applicable for guys as well :)

GOODNESS! I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAS A BIG FAT BOYYYYY!
