City Karting track consists of two high speed straights and 12 turns which is designed to test the drivers skill. As it was drizzling before I got there, all karts were on wet tyres. Lap times can only be set on dry tyres, so maybe next time. I'll definitely post up my lap time soon.
The karts racing experience in Genting and City Karting are completely different. Those in Genting are for kids. Trust me! I have no problem racing the karts even with one hand. I'm sure not just me. Now those in City Karting are for big boys.
There are two types of karts to choose from- 80cc and 100cc. It may sounds like a super low cc, but don't forget that the karts are very light. They are really a pocket rockets.
My racing license. It's legit alright! Not kopi-O :)
Something that I realized, kart racing is really an expensive sport. During my stay there, I saw all the high end Mercedes in the parking space, and heck! Even a few Porsches. Excitement don't come cheap.
Price
RM35 per 10 minutes for the Cadet Kart (80cc)
RM80 per 10 minutes for the PRD Kart (100cc)
If you decided to drop by one of the weekends, tweet me at @JYtanz
I'll be there, and then... LET'S RACE!
